What YOGA is

A space to reconnect inward — through mindfulness, breath, and movement.
Yoga is a path — a way of being that teaches moral integrity, discipline, conscious mind–body–breath connection, and the awakening of deeper layers of consciousness.
At its core, yoga is a return to Self.
While the ancient tradition of yoga has been shaped into what we now call "a yoga mat practice," this is not a lesser form — it is a bridge. A way to bring timeless teachings into the rhythm and reality of our lives today.
One yoga session holds more wisdom than we might imagine — it is far more than just movement.
It helps us understand the nature of the mind and how it works, offering practical tools to navigate moments of stress, triggers, anger or anxiety — OBSERVE and BREATHE.

It mirrors our mental attitude, revealing our tendency to push or pull into poses rather than ACCEPT what is and where we stand naturally.
It invites us to connect with our bodies — to notice what we drink, eat, and how we move — to simply LISTEN.
And it supports our integration through Savasana — conscious REST.
What might change if we became aware of this?
Yoga can be — and truly is — a powerful, accessible tool for transformation.
How lucky we are. ☺️
My YOGA Journey

The seeds of my yogic journey were planted many years ago, but it wasn't until 2017 that my true practice began to take shape — in a small ashram near Kathmandu, Nepal. There I met my dear friend and great teacher, Terez Greskova (www.ashram.sk, ig @shankhayoga ), who later guided me to grow and deepen both my teaching and assisting skills.
In 2018, I completed a 200-hour YTTC in Koh Phangan, Thailand — purely for personal growth. Teaching wasn't yet on my mind.
But once the inner teacher was ready, My little Temple came into being — a space to share yoga with heart and honesty.
Experience yoga through my own understanding and lived journey of what it can be. It means different things to different people — and the beauty lies in all its shades and colours.
Come and experience mine 🤍😊
What Style Do I Teach?
I am certified in both Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Yet, it is the traditional way of moving and flowing on the mat that feels most aligned and natural to me.
Hatha, with its emphasis on longer holds, offers a powerful way to understand postures more deeply while staying anchored in the present moment through the breath.
Whether slow-paced or more dynamic, Hatha remains at the heart of my teachings.
Yoga is often said to be for everyone — regardless of age, health, ability, or gender. There are truly no limitations. For this reason, I also offer Restorative Yoga — a soft, calming practice designed to support healing, deep rest and the restoration of balance physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Types of YOGA sessions held by me:
> Regular Classes for Adults (Mošovce):
Structure of a Regular Class
At the core of my teaching is a mindful, inclusive approach that encourages presence, conscious alignment, and a deep connection between body, mind, and breath. Each class is guided with personal attention and care, with emphasis on listening to your own body and honouring where you are.
Each session includes:
Opening & guided meditation – to settle into the present moment and clear the mind
Pranayama (breathwork) – to connect with the breath and calm the nervous system
Gentle warm-up – to prepare the body and awaken energy flow
Asana practice – adapted to the group's level, opening, strengthening, and stretching the body in rhythm with the breath
Final relaxation – fully supported rest, often accompanied by healing sounds such as singing bowls or chimes.
• Beginners Yoga (Traditional Hatha Style)
A gentle introduction to foundational postures for those new to yoga. Focus on alignment, breath awareness, and cultivating mental stillness through mindful movement and short meditations.
• Advanced Hatha Flow
A more dynamic, fluid sequence of postures — ideal for those with an established practice seeking progression, deeper body awareness, and a refined connection between breath and movement.
• Restorative Yoga
Deeply restful, therapeutic classes where props fully support the body. Suitable for those recovering from injury, managing physical limitations, or simply in need of deep rest and replenishment.
🧘♀️ All regular classes are held in Mošovce, near Turčianske Teplice and Martin.

> Yoga for Children – In Kindergarten & School Settings
Raising and educating children is a beautiful, yet challenging task. Parents and teachers play a vital role in shaping the next generation. How can yoga support this journey?
Yoga offers creative, playful tools for emotional, mental, and physical development.
From the age of 4, children can explore yoga through storytelling, animal and nature-inspired postures, and joyful movement. Short breathing practices and gentle meditations help build focus and emotional awareness.
Children may practice individually or in pairs, nurturing both self-confidence and connection with others. Props like yoga cards spark imagination and curiosity.
For older children, classes adapt to their stage of growth, with more focus on strength, balance, flexibility, and reflection on values such as respect, kindness, and self-awareness — the moral foundation of yogic philosophy.
